On the morning of October 20, the groundbreaking ceremony for the "Frontier Structural Materials and New Energy Industrial Park Project" of Gansu Phohom New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Gansu Phohom"), a subsidiary of Hunan Phohom New Material Technology Co., Ltd., was held in Jinchang, Gansu. Relevant leaders of Jinchang City and Jinchuan District, Hu Peng, General Manager of Gansu Phohom, as well as representatives of partners and construction parties, attended the ceremony and jointly laid the foundation for the project.

• Jin-Bai-Lan-Wu Nonferrous Metals National Advanced Manufacturing Cluster Project

With a total investment of RMB 1.4 billion, the project is planned to be implemented in three phases. The Phase I project, which started construction today, covers a planned land area of about 30 mu and will be used to build a metal cladding production line. It is scheduled to be completed in October 2027 and officially put into operation by the end of that year. Phase I has been included in the list of projects supported by the Jinchang Regional Development Special Fund of the Jin-Bai-Lan-Wu Nonferrous Metals National Advanced Manufacturing Cluster.

• Leveraging Core Technology, the Jinchang Base Has Been Built and Put into Operation

Founded in July 2023, Gansu Phohom is a key investment-attraction enterprise in Jinchang City, covering the R&D, production, marketing and technical services of high-performance metal cladding materials. Leveraging the core technologies of its parent company, Phohom New Materials, in the field of metal cladding preparation, the company has built a metal explosive cladding base and two high-performance metal cladding material processing lines, which were successfully put into operation in August 2024.

• Expanding Production and Market, Continuing to Empower Cluster Development

The launch of this industrial park project is not only an internal need for Gansu Phohom to expand production scale, improve product quality and expand market areas, but also an important measure for Phohom New Materials to respond to the national new energy development strategy and deeply cultivate the Northwest China market. Once completed, the project will further enhance the company's market supply capacity in the field of metal cladding materials and provide strong support for the construction of the Jinchang Nonferrous Metals National Advanced Manufacturing Cluster.
