Analysis of Core Preparation Process
The manufacturing process requirements for titanium steel clad plate are extremely high, and the mainstream technologies currently include three directions:


Explosive composite method: By precisely controlling the detonation of explosives, high-speed impacts of several kilometers per second are generated, causing atomic level cold bonding between titanium and steel plates in an instant, forming a unique wavy interface. This method combines strength close to the base metal and is particularly suitable for thick plate production.


Rolling composite method:
Thick plate rolling: Using titanium steel titanium symmetrical billet, electron beam welding sealing is carried out in a high vacuum environment, and metallurgical bonding is achieved through segmented heating (500-900 ℃) and multiple passes of rolling (total reduction of 60-70%).


Continuous hot rolling: specially designed for thin plates, it is continuously rolled after arc welding in atmospheric environment to produce composite materials in the form of coils.
Innovative intermediate layer technology: The nickel chromium vanadium clad intermediate layer technology (steel/nickel/chromium/vanadium/titanium structure) developed by Phohom New Materials can effectively suppress the formation of brittle intermetallic compounds, making the interfacial shear strength break through the 370MPa threshold, far exceeding the traditional process's 210-300MPa.
