On July 17, 2021, the scientific and technological achievement evaluation meeting of Hunan Phohom New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "PHOHOM") and Central South University‘s Key Technology and Application of High Energy Rate Dynamic Composite of Aluminum/Lead and Aluminum/Titanium/Steel was held in Changsha successfully held. The meeting was chaired by Xuanrong Group. The meeting invited Professor Zhou Xingui of National University of Defense Technology, Professor Xiong Weihao of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Professor Ren Zhongming of Shanghai University, Professor Zhou Lingping of Hunan University, Associate Researcher Dong Shouhua of Dalian University of Technology, and Luo Yueping, researcher of Hunan Academy of Environmental Protection , Wang Zhijian, researcher of Hunan Rare Earth Metal Materials Research Institute and other experts participated in the achievement evaluation meeting.
At this meeting, PHOHOM made a report on the results of aluminum series products such as aluminum lead, aluminum steel, and aluminum titanium steel. After intensive inquiry and discussion, the expert group agreed that the overall technical level of the project has reached the international leading level.
The project "Key Technologies and Applications of High Energy Rate Dynamic Compounding of Aluminum/Lead and Aluminum/Titanium/Steel" was jointly completed by PHOHOM and Central South University. In 2014, the independent research and development of the project entered the industrialization stage. At present, the products are widely used in petrochemical, shipbuilding, metal smelting, high-energy physical equipment, low-temperature engineering, power batteries and other industries. It has solved key technical problems such as wear resistance, corrosion resistance and dissimilar metal connection for related industries, greatly reduced the cost of material use, and achieved independent innovation.
In the future, PHOHOM will continue to carry out technology research and development based on the needs of industry development and committe to researching and developing key technologies of "stuck neck", making greater contributions to building a strong country in non-ferrous metals and new material industries.
